Certified translations

Certified and Sworn translations

Legal use of most certificates abroad requires they be in that language to show they can be trusted. Marriage certificates, qualifications, birth and death certificates, personal correspondence may need to be certified, sworn or notarized.

A certified translation means it has been performed by a professional qualified translator, and accurately reflects the original. With certified translation the back of each page is stamped & signed by the translator, and a stamped and signed certificate is provided. The concept of 'sworn' translations is not recognised under English law.

Always present your translation with the certificate attached! A certified translation should be accompanied by the original document.

There is only a small extra fee for this service to cover admin costs.
